And this year’s winners are BRAZIL!!!

 …If you’re wondering what the big deal is, Brazil has just won the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan.  Since 2003, groups of cosplayers have been competing against some of the best from around the world for a chance to win the World Cosplay Summit.  This year Brazil beat out France, Korea, Japan–Osaka, Singapore, China, USA, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Thailand, Denmark, and Japan–Tokyo. 

Each year more countries sign up to participate, but TV-Aichi has chosen to only admit ONE new country for the 2009 competition!  Next year’s new contender will be AUSTRALIA!  Good luck to the future finalists from the Outback!
